As of 1.0.4, Selenium IDE has had a plug-in system to allow for easy extension and customization including:
• Adding new functionality to the API
• Changing existing functionality
• Custom formats and export capabilities
• Hosting of plug-in update.rdf files
• Adding new locator strategies (coming soon)
